Indexer

HOW DO YOU USE THIS INDEXER ??? I'v had this Indexer for years and never had a use for it until this power head off the small Honda tiller lost a gear. It cost me $150.00 bucks to replace Head because the gear is no longer available. So I figure I can make a lot of gears for that kind of money, but first I have to learn how to use this indexer. Wearing out this gear common event with Honda tillers.
